CANOGA PARK – A high speed-pursuit involving a teenage boy ended tonight after LAPD officers deliberately hit the car he was driving, authorities said. A woman watching the “unreported” stolen-vehicle pursuit on her television recognized the four-door Toyota sedan as her own and promptly called police, said LAPD Sgt. Rick Webb. A 16-year old boy suspected of being the driver of the vehicle is in custody. The pursuit began at about 7:50 p.m. near Topanga Canyon Boulevard and Sherman Way and ended at 8:20 p.m. about a mile away near Topanga Canyon Boulevard and Lanark Street, Webb said.
